The Western Kings improved to 12-2 in provincial major midget hockey this weekend, sweeping the Central IcePak with two convincing wins.  After losing two games to the Icepak last weekend in Lewisporte, the Kings were out for revenge and showed why they sit at the top of the standings.

On Saturday night, the Kings won by a score of 7-4 and on Sunday trounced the IcePak by a score of 12-1, with Neil Woolfrey leading the way with four goals and Ian Skinner chipping in with a hat trick.  Other scorers included Shannon Moores, Chad Jones, Nathan Ellsworth and Tommy Ryan.

The Kings resume action next weekend with a tournament being held in Lewisporte with the IcePak as host team.
