As the weekend approaches, hockey fans are gearing up for another exciting weekend in the Newfoundland and Labrador Senior Hockey League (NLSHL).

The weekend matchups put the Gander Flyers against the Conception Bay Cee Bees.  The Flyers are coming off a weekend split against the Clarenville Caribous and the Cee Bees have acquired some great talent in a blockbuster trade.  All eyes will be on this game to see how the Flyers will perform and how the new players will fit into the Cee Bees lineup.

The Flyers and the Cee Bees are set to square off on Saturday night at 7:30 pm with game two of their matchup taking place on Sunday at 1:30 pm.

In other league action, the Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts will meet the Clarenville Caribous for the first time since last year’s Herder Memorial Championship.  The Cataracts are in Clarenville to face-off against the Bous on Saturday night at 7:30 pm and again on Sunday at 1:30 pm.

This matchup plans on being very interesting as the Cataracts are currently undefeated and they will be looking at protecting their perfect record.  The Caribous have been hot and cold this season and will look to regain the form they showed last season.
