NL Curler Mark Nichols to Join Jeff Stoughton Rink

Former third with the Brad Gushue rink has made the move to Winnipeg to become the lead on Jeff Stoughton’s curling team.  Nichols, an Olympic gold medalist with Gushue, had previously indicated he was taking a break from competitive curling to focus on his career and family is now back.

Stoughton’s rink has seen success with Nichols as the lea, winning the Capital One Canada Cup with a 4-3 victory over Ontario’s Glenn Howard.  The Stoughton rink with its victory has obtained a berth in the Roar of the Rings Olympic trials to be held next December in Winnipeg.
