Four Unanswered Goals Give Cee Bees the Game

The Conception Bay Cee Bee Stars scored four unanswered goals to dump the Gander Flyers by a score of 5-2 in recent Newfoundland and Labrador Senior Hockey League (NLSHL) action.  Recently acquired Mark Yetman came away with the victory, stopping 29 shots in the process.

The Gander Flyers opened the scoring at the 34 second mark when Sean Wadden scored.  The Cee Bees answered on the power play when Ray Dalton scored his first of 2 goals on the night.  David Chubb restored the Flyers lead at the 15:30 mark, allowing them to take a one-goal lead into the dressing room after the first period.

Things fared much better for the Cee Bee Stars in the second period, scoring three unanswered goals on markers by Feehan, Escott and Ryan.  Ray Dalton scored his second of the night in the third period.  The Cee Bees outshot the Flyers 34-29 in the game.

Action resumes on Sunday at 1:30 pm.
