Here’s the official press release from the EastLink CeeBee Stars:

The Eastlink CeeBee Stars are pleased to announce that we have acquired QMJHL star Ben Duffy as an import. Ben has recently decided to make the switch from pro and pursue a university career at UNB, he spent first half of season with Hamilton Bulldogs in the AHL and will be a Red Shirt with UNB. Coach Gardner MacDougall reached out to the CeeBees to find a game for Ben for the remainder of season, and the Eastlink CeeBee Stars are excited to bring in this sniper! In his last season with the PEI Rocket in the Q he played 68 games and tallied 39 goals and 71 assists for 110 points. Welcome Ben Duffy, the newest Eastlink CeeBee Star!

The Eastlink CeeBee Stars have also acquired NLSHL standout Matt Quinn as their second import signing. Matt spent his NLSHL career with The Cataracts and will now suit up for the Eastlink CeeBee Stars. We welcome Matt to the CeeBee Stars.

The Eastlink CeeBee Stars also announce at this time that we are releasing imports Nick Therriault and Joey Perricone and we thank them both for their contribution and wish them well in the future.

We also confirm at this time that both Ben Duffy and Matt Quinn will be in the line-up for the Eastlink CeeBee Stars this weekend!
