The Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts racked up its league leading 12th win of the season, defeating the Clarenville Caribous by a score of 5-2 on Saturday night in the Newfoundland and Labrador Senior Hockey League (NLSHL).

The Cataracts were led by the strong play of Andre Gill who picked up two goals in the winning effort.  He was helped by his teammates Ryan Graham, Wes Welcher and Brandon Nicholas, each chipping in singles in the winning effort.  Jeff Caron scored a pair in the losing effort for the Caribous.

The Caribous struggles continue this season even though they currently sit in second place in league action.  They are unable to come up with the big effort, especially when facing the Cataracts.

League action resumes on Sunday as the teams square off again.
