Caribous Beat Cee Bees

The Clarenville Caribous beat the Conception Bay Cee Bees by a score of 6-4 in Newfoundland and Labrador Senior Hockey League action on Friday night, moving four points up on the Western Royals.

Dale Sullivan had two goals with Ryan Derosiers, Chris Hulit, Steven Yetman adding singles for the Caribous.  The Cee Bees had goals from Robert Slaney, Fred Earle and Terry Ryan.

Tonight’s action sets the stage for a crucial match-up between the Cee Bees and the Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts on Saturday and Sunday, who are tied with the Gander Flyers for the last playoff spot.  The Flyers will be heading to Clarenville to take on the Caribous.  With the Flyers and Cee Bees tied with 11 points a piece, these series are likely to decide the final playoff spot.

The Western Royals are idle this weekend.
